Your baby is just 1 month away from being 1 year old. It will be fun for your munchkin to engage her in fun games like Hokey Pokey, Pat-a-Cake to develop her motor skills.

Also, encourage her waving bye bye and blowing kisses to make her learn new things.

Game 1: Wave Bye-Bye

Purpose: To build problem-solving skills

Baby will now use gestures like saying “no” with shaking the head. Also, try to teach new movements like waving bye-bye when guests leave the home.

It helps the baby to understand the gestures and its meaning.

Game 2: Chore-Time

Purpose: To develop the focus of attention

Continue talking to the baby while you are doing some chores related to daily life activities.

While carrying out diversified functions around the house point out a finger towards different objects you are using by mentioning their names. Also, tell him what you are doing.

This way baby will learn to focus his attention on different objects. He will also learn to identify things by pointing his finger. He will further learn to observe various activities.

Game 3: Foil Surprise

Purpose: To develop language skills

Take a toy and wrap it with paper or cloth. Give it to the baby and ask her to unwrap it. Also, help her while she tries to remove the wrapper.

The baby will be happy to find out the hidden item. Ask “What is this?” and tell her the name of that object. “here is your ball, or “here we get the car” like that.

Baby will learn the names of these objects and develop her language skill.

Game 4: Play Hokey Pokey

Purpose: To build listening skills

Play Hokey Pokey with your baby. He will love the dancing tune at the same time learn the body parts through this song and dance.
