Baby Games – Month 12

Your baby is growing up fast and near to her first birthday. So, it is the best time to encourage her learning body parts or let her work independently.

This is the time to develop her memory skills and strength. Play the following games to keep her engage in interesting things.

Game 1: Body Points

 


Purpose: To develop language skills

Make baby stand on his feet. Then ask him to show where his feet are. Once he points out towards his feet, tell him, “Hello feet! Now we will have more activities with our other body parts.”

And play the game of pointing to the different body parts with their names.


Game 2: Big Toy Time

 

Purpose: To improve strength

Babies love playing with large objects like pillows. Place some pillows on the floor and help your baby to crawl over the pillows.

The baby will love completing the challenge. Also, at the same time watch that your baby is safe. It helps the baby to reach from one place to another.


Game 3: Independent Walk

 

Purpose: To develop motor skills

Choose toys that will encourage your baby to walk. Push toys are great for babies who just learn to walk.

The baby can enjoy the toys while he sits on and scoots using the feet on the ground.

It helps the baby to develop gross motor skills.


Game 4: Beach-Ball Tummy Time

 

Purpose: To develop balance skills

Blow the beach ball with a soft spot. Now, hold your baby on the top of the beach ball with tummy down.

Roll him or her back and forth and side to side. Also, you can sing when you roll the baby.

It helps baby to develop balance and core strength.
