In motor skills, babies will learn to stretch the body, open and shut palms, suck thumb or bring fist to the mouth, shake and grasp toys, check out the moving objects with the eyes. In language skill, they learn cooing sound and in emotional development, they smile to the similar face. Also, enjoy playing with other people.

Milestone for 4th to 7th Month

By this time, babies are strongly attached with parents. The baby knows that they are his or her primary caretakers. Also, babies show displeasure if someone take them away from their parents. Babies learn to lift head, arms and legs when rest on stomach. It develops the babies’ upper body.

In motor skills, babies learn to roll over, sit with or without support, reach to object using one hand and make use of raking grasp. Try to transfer object from one hand to another. Explore new items with hands, mouth while banging and shaking. In language development, baby learns to laugh and make sound of ba-ba-ba-ba. In emotional development, babies can now differentiate emotions by hearing voice tone and tries to find hidden objects.

Milestones for 8th to 12th months

Crawling is very important for babies. It develops the communication of two side of the brains of the babies. They become mobile, fast and explore new objects.
