Fertility Yoga on Week 8

This week, we focus on the two important yoga asanas that will improve the flow of blood and muscle relaxation in the body.

Salamba Shirsasana

 

Most of our time we spend with our head farther to the ground and legs nearer to the ground. Due to earth gravity,  the blood flow is easier to legs and needs pressure from the heart to reach the head.

In this yoga pose, we facilitate blood flow easily to the head due to gravity. All the organs in the body also feel the gravity on their other side. Once we come out of the pose, all the organs will relax making you fully refreshed.

Salamba Shirsasana is the classic headstand yoga posture, making it one of the most challenging but more effective yoga postures to increase fertility.

How to do it:

  1. Take a soft mattress or cushion for head support
  2. Place your head on the ground between your hands
  3. Transfer all your body weight onto your head and hands by lifting your legs straight over your head to try and balance your body weight
  4. Try to hold the pose for as long as you can and continue to breathe normally

Shavasana

 

This yoga posture is very popular because of its simplicity. The yoga pose gets the name from the posture of a dead body and is also known as the corpse posture. It is performed at the end of a yoga session to provide rest.

It is important to focus your attention on the various body parts and feel their relaxation.

How to do it:

  1. Lie flat on the ground with your hands by your side
  2. Continue to breathe normally and relax for a few minutes
