Yoga for New Mom – Month 11

This week we suggest you some pose that will help you to strengthen your stomach, arms and your tone your whole body. Try these poses for this whole month.

Cobra pose

Cobra pose is very efficient in weight loss as well as helping new moms handle back pain after delivery. This basic pose of yoga will tone your buttocks, stomach, and arms. You can do this pose 5-10 times a day.

Steps: 

  • Lie down flat on your stomach and bring your palms on either side of your chest.
  • Breathe in and lift yourself up using your arms.
  • Be on this pose for 1 minute and do breath deeply.
  • Bring yourself back slowly.

Bow Pose

Apart from the increased weight, after delivery, new moms often have digestive problems. Because the body loses its power after delivery, the overall health needs to be maintained. This pose helps you to achieve this. do this pose every day this week.

Steps:

  • Lie on your stomach and bend the knees and hold your knees with your hands.
  • Inhale while lifting your head and maintain it for a few seconds.
  • Return to the original position while exhaling.
